Read the Instructions given below before applying online

  1. Keep digital (scan copies) of the following documents ready before you start filling up the admission forms. Upload only scanned Copies. Digital photos should not be uploaded. Check whether the scanned copies are legible. If the documents are not legible, applications will be summarily rejected
    • X Standard (SSLC) or equivalent certificate/mark statement
    • Higher Secondary (HSC) or its equivalent certificate/mark statement
    • Degree/Provisional certificate of the qualifying degree (Only for PG and MBA Degree programmes)
    • Passport size photo
    • Aadhar card
    • Fee Concession category certificate, if applicable
  2. Students are requested to create Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID in Digi Locker as per the guidelines of Distance Education Bureau (DEB), UGC and fill in the number in the application form. Also, it is to be noted that you are required to link your mobile number to Aadhar card to create the ABC ID in Digi Locker.
  3. Decide whether you are applying for Conventional Mode (Jan-Feb and Jul-Aug admissions) or TPI Mode (Jul-Aug admissions only). Refer Directorate of Distance Education, Pondicherry University website for more details on TPI mode. You cannot change mode once you have submitted the application
  4. Decide which course / Specialisation you are to select. Once selected, you cannot change course or specialisations
  5. Check your eligibility for the course you are applying before submitting the application
  6. Upload scanned / digital copy of passport size photo only (to be used in the ID card)
  7. Ensure you are entering the accurate spelling/ details for the following before submitting the profile section in the application:
    • Name (Spelling as per the SSLC/ Degree certificate)
    • Photo
    • Address
    • Email
    • Mobile Number

[Email and mobile number will be used for communications and notifications. Any wrong entry in these will cause hindrance for you to get the communications from us. Hence, give correct email and mobile number]

Important Note: After admission, any request to change/ corrections in name, mobile number, address or photo will attract a fee of Rs.100.
