Since I took over DDE on May 2019, I tried to sort out all the existing minor issues and brought the DDE into normal track. Presently DDE is concentrating on Management discipline and offering MBA in eight concentrations – General, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources Management, International Business. This year DDE got the approval of the UGC to offer eight undergraduate degree programmes including BA in English, Hindi, Sociology, History, Political Science, Economics and Journalism & Mass Communication. Presently DDE is offering both postgraduate and undergraduate degree programmes under two modes. First one is Conventional Mode of education offered twice in year in January and August. Second one is Twinning Mode of education in which Pondicherry University singed MoU with few prestigious Educational Institutions in providing high quality classroom education to students. In both cases, Pondicherry University offers classes through senior faculty members those are teaching to the regular students.  Moreover, to cater to the needs of the teaching, this year DDE appointed 29 Faculty, 17 Professors as Course Coordinators, along with several full-time teaching and administrative staff.
